Science Communications Short Course Application

We appreciate your interest in the Science Communications Short Course.  This program is conducted by the UF Center for Public Interest Communications.

• The application deadline is September 15, 2023
• This program meets twice a month, online from Sept. 27 through Dec. 14, 2023
• The cost of the program is $1395, which includes six live sessions, a workbook and activities and just-in-time feedback.

Please complete the following two steps to apply:

• Step 1:
  Complete the online application form below.
  
• Step 2:
  Please have your manager or supervisor fill out this Supporting Documentation Form.
• Step 3:
  Once you are notified of acceptance into the program, you will receive an invoice for the course. This can be paid by providing the relevant chartfield.

By submitting this application, I am confirming my understanding that if I am selected to participate in the Science Communications Short Course, I will be responsible for attending all scheduled meetings or making alternative arrangements when conflicts are unavoidable, actively participating in those meetings, completing assignments between meetings and working with fellow participants as needed.
