Strategic Communications Academy Application

Thank you for your interest in the Strategic Communications Academy for UF Leaders, sponsored by UF’s College of Journalism and Communications and UF Training & Organizational Development.

  • Application deadline is January 22, 2020.
  • Applications will be considered by the Strategic Communications Academy Selection Committee, with selection being announced February 2020.
  • This program will meet monthly over the course of the 2020 calendar year, beginning in March 2020 and ending September 2020.
  • The program cost is $1,750 (or $4,500 for three employees in the same department/college)

Please complete the following two steps to apply:

  • Step 1:
    Complete the online application form below, which includes the attachment of a one-page outline of your employment history and key highlights.
  • Step 2:
    Please provide your manager as well as your dean, director, or department chair (if different) with a link to the Supporting Documentation Form and request that they submit the form.

By submitting this application, I am confirming my understanding that if I am selected to participate in the Strategic Communications Academy for UF Leaders and Scholars, I will be responsible for attending all scheduled meetings or making alternative arrangements when conflicts are unavoidable; actively participating in those meetings; completing assignments between meetings; working with fellow participants as needed, and completing a final project at the conclusion of the program.
